The four recognized colors of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are:
Black & Tan:
There are tan markings on the cheeks, inside the ears, on the chest, legs and under the tail of a Raven black. The “tan” should be clear. White markings are undesirable.
Ruby: colored completely deep red, where white markings are undesirable.
A pearly white background shows off deep chestnut markings. The markings should be evenly distributed on the head and leave room between the ears for the highly prized diamond-shaped spot or “spot” (a unique breed characteristic).
White & Black well spaced and broken, tan marks above the eyes, on the cheeks, inside the ears, under the tail and possibly on the inside of the legs.
In a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a weight of 5.4 to 8.0 kilograms is desired, and the breed is about 40 centimeters in height. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s eyes are large and dark, which can give them a sweet expression.
Raising the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a small effort. The dog can also adapt well in terms of exercise. Cavaliers learn easily and quickly and are eager to please their masters. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is affectionate and gentle by nature: it is important that you keep the training clear but playful.
