Amin-ul-Haque, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Communication, announced the launching date of 5G technology by July 2023. 5G is the fifth generation of wireless communications and will be five times faster than 4G. This will provide unprecedented opportunities for enhanced connectivity and faster innovation in business, as well as new experiences for users.
5G will open up new markets for the telecom sector, including edge computing, artificial intelligence (AI), M2M, and massive Machine Learning (ML) deployments, according to Amin-ul-Haque. It will also give farmers in remote areas access to information about their crops and help hospitals monitor vital patient data. With 5G, businesses can expect reduced costs associated with deploying telecommunications infrastructure, increased efficiency from connected devices, and increased customer experience.
5G Technology
“5G technology provides a fast, secure and convenient way for users to communicate with each other. The app features a user-friendly interface and supports multiple languages. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.”
“Amin-ul-Haque says that 5G technology is important because it helps improve the quality of life for people around the world. He says that by providing a fast, easy way to communicate, 5G technology can help break down barriers between people and help them connect in ways that are helpful and meaningful.”

KARACHI, Nov 10 (APP): Federal Minister for Information Technology and Communication Syed Aminul Haque today said that Pakistan had started the manufacturing of quality smart-phones. 5G technology will be launched in the country by July 2023. Our effort is to make access to technology possible for people in each part of the country.
He was speaking as the chief guest at an event to recruit software engineers for the University of Karachi run by the Department of Computer Science. The event was held at UBIT Garden, and companies from all over Pakistan sent representatives to participate in the recruitment process.
The minister believes that the increase in IT and telecommunication exports has been substantial, and future needs can be fulfilled with more cooperation from the IT industry and universities.
By 2019, the total funding for start-ups had increased and was around US$373 million.
Syed Aminul Haq acknowledged that a large number of female students were enrolled in computer science programs at various universities, and he was glad to see their role. The society can progress by empowering female students.
He took control of the Ministry of IT and Communication back in 2013 and has overseen significant improvements. “I feel great because it’s not just an increase, it’s an enhancement,” he told the audience. “Today, our exports are US$2.6 billion dollars.”
Technology is being made available at an unprecedented rate. Experts say we have to work hard to achieve the goals of 2050 for countries with low technological capacity, such as Mexico and India–and do it in only 17 years!
Khalid Mahmood, Professor in the Department of Educational Development at the University of Karachi, said on this occasion, universities are always places where creative thinking and research are done. They’re also a place where people tend to innovate. But they need help implementing their creativity, so it’s important to support young people and give them the opportunities they need.
The Chairman of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Nadeem Mahmood, shared more about the career fest and its proposed aims and objectives.
5G networks in Pakistan
G technology is a convergence of the latest communications and information technologies with the GSM network. The aim of this project is to provide an affordable and reliable communication solution in Pakistan.
The project will cover five regions of Pakistan: Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad Capital Territory. Each region will have its own regional operator.
Amin-ul-Haque said that the launch of G technology would result in a decrease in telecom bills by 50% or more for users.
NETWORK PLAN
5G technology is being launched in five regions of Pakistan. Each region will have its own regional operator. The project will cover:
- Punjab: Orange Pakistan
- Sindh: Paktel Ltd.
- Balochistan: Balochistan Telecommunication Company Ltd.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Khyber Telecom Limited
- Islamabad Capital Territory: Islamabad Wireless Company Limited (IWCL)
Benefits of 5G technology in Pakistan
5G technology will revolutionize the way we live and work in Pakistan. It offers immense benefits to individuals, businesses, and society as a whole.
One of the most significant advantages of 5G technology is that it can support ultra-fast mobile broadband speeds that are over 1000 times faster than current 4G LTE networks. This will make online shopping, streaming videos, and download files much faster and more efficient.
5G also has the potential to improve healthcare by providing real-time information on patient health conditions and treatments. It can also help to reduce traffic congestion and allow for new forms of transportation such as self-driving cars.
Overall, 5G technology is primed to bring many benefits to Pakistan including increased access to quality education, improved connectivity, safer communities, and faster innovation.
If you are looking to take advantage of the many benefits 5G technology has to offer, then you should consider investing in a 5G modem.
How will 5G technology change our lives in Pakistan?
When it comes to telecom technology, 5G is the newest and most advanced. With its low latency, faster data speeds, and enhanced capacity, 5G will change how we live and work in Pakistan. Here are a few ways 5G technology will impact our lives:
First and foremost, 5G will enable ultra-fast internet access for all – especially those in rural areas who currently lack access to reliable broadband services. This will not only improve their quality of life but also open up new opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs.
5G also has the potential to revolutionize traditional telecommunication services such as voice and video calling. It can allow users to talk to each other without having to leave their comfort zones, making communication easier and more seamless than ever before.
Last but not least, 5G technology can help reduce the number of traffic accidents by increasing the accuracy of location readings. As a result, drivers can become safer while on the road and less congested roads can be created overall.
Overall, 5G technology is expected to have a significant impact on Pakistan’s economy, society, and way of life. It will not only change the way we communicate but also open up new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Conclusion
