Quill Of Acceptance And Book Of Admittance Secret Room
The Quill of Acceptance and Book of Admittance are in a secret room near the Headmaster’s Office in Hogwarts Legacy. This room is also where you can find a valuable field guide page. To find this secret spot, players must solve the difficult Hogwarts Legacy Headmaster’s office door puzzle near the trophy room on the Hogwarts map’s Grand Staircase.
It’s a cool-looking secret area of Hogwarts that’s also very important, because the collectible field guide page explains the moving quill and book put there by Hogwarts’ founders and keeps track of every potential Hogwarts student who shows signs of magic.
Hufflepuff Common Room’s Secret Sweets Room
If a player chose Hufflepuff as their House, they might have missed one of the common room secrets in Hogwarts Legacy that was right in front of them. A simple-looking shelf in the Hufflepuff common room is actually a secret door to an often-overlooked Hufflepuff secret room, which is the perfect place for a midnight snack.
Inside the small room, it’s no surprise that there are sweets to eat and a locked level 2 box. Even though it’s a small area, it’s easy for some players to miss it because its entrance isn’t obvious and it doesn’t take up much room on the map.
The One-Eyed Witch Secret Passage Leading To Honeydukes’ Cellar
Honeydukes is a great place to look around for people who like sweets. Fans of the movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban may wonder, though, if it is possible to go through the One-Eyed Witch path. Well, it is! In the “Descending for Sweets” side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, players can open a hidden door in a statue of the One-Eyed Witch and take a secret path to a Honeydukes’ cellar in Hogsmeade that they can explore.
Exploring the passage that wasn’t shown in the Harry Potter movies and sneaking into Honeydukes to get sweets feels magical, and it’s easy for players to miss this secret spot if they don’t finish this side quest.
The Hogsmeade Player Shop
When exploring the beautiful town of Hogsmeade, many players may wonder how to get into the mystery building that is closed off. But it is part of a Haunted shop quest called “Minding Your Own Business,” which is only available on PlayStation. Lucky players can use it to get the Hogsmeade player shop from Hogwarts Legacy.
Even though shop FMO is one of the best secret side quests in the game, players don’t need to worry too much about it because they can’t change it much. They can only choose a name from a few options and treat it like one of the game’s many traders, even though it only sells items.
The Viaduct Courtyard Bridge’s Secrets
Hogwarts is full of puzzles that sometimes lead to secret places, like the viaduct courtyard bridge puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy. Look for the bridge near Central Hall that has braziers and a number of holes. One is a secret path that leads to a room underground. To open it, players must solve the bridge problem by lighting the braziers with a fire spell like Incendio and moving the symbols in the right order.
Once the bridge problem is solved, the manhole opens, letting players dive into a secret sewer passageway under the bridge to find two collection chests and a legendary chest. It also finishes one of the Hogwarts secrets tasks in the Hogwarts Legacy game.
The Blocked Balcony
When players fly around Hogwarts on one of Hogwarts Legacy’s brooms, they come across a tower with two chests and no easy way to land on its platform. But the key is to get there from somewhere else inside Hogwarts.
Enter the school through the main door behind the pond, go up the stairs on the right, then turn left and go up the stairs to the top to get to the balcony from the inside. Once there, players will find a treasure chest with a mystery legendary item inside and a frog statue that takes them to the other side of the balcony where they can find more chests with a beautiful red wand handle inside.
The Mysterious Blue Door
Some players may have seen a blue door above a hallway in Hogwarts that looks like it can’t be opened, and most players may have even missed it. But it is still possible to get to it.
The door that looks out over the stairs is in the South Wing, next to the bottom of the Faculty Tower and in front of the bottom of Gryffindor Tower.
The blue frog statue is at the top of the stairs, on the corner of the curved hallway. When players talk to the frog, they are teleported to the secret room behind the door. This is a small storage room with a chest holding a wand handle.
The Secret Werewolf Tapestry Room
Players can find a K on a fabric on a wall by going up and down the stairs at Hogwarts. At first glance, this painting looks like any other, so most people will probably miss it. But the K is a door that leads to the secret room with the werewolf tapestries in Basket Random.
Fans of Harry Potter will recognize this werewolf because it looks a lot like the one Professor Lupin turns into in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. In the second room, there is a chest that players can open to get a Royal Maroon Coat. There are also interactable drapes that tell a sad story about a werewolf.
The Hogwarts Kitchen
Have you ever thought how the tables in the Great Hall get filled with food that looks so good? House elves at Hogwarts make it in the kitchen under the Great Hall. But finding the kitchen in Hogwarts Legacy can be hard if players don’t know where to look for the secret door behind the fruity portrait. To get in, players have to tickle the pear.
When players go into the kitchen at Hogwarts, they can watch elves clean up and make food. The food suddenly appears on the tables above because the elves make it and put it on the tables below. Players can also find pages from field guides that tell them more about how house elves live.
You can play Hogwarts Legacy on a PC, a PlayStation 4, an Xbox One, a PlayStation 5, and an Xbox Series X/S.
